Kamille Little
Kamille Little University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) ’23, Digital Media Studies
Kamille Little is a rising senior at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), majoring in digital media studies. This summer, Kamille is supporting both alumni relations and development communications, where she will tap into her passion for storytelling and explore ways she could use her creativity in the development world.
What drew you to this opportunity?
Considering Johns Hopkins’s mission and universal impact, I knew I wanted to be a part of a collective that works towards fostering knowledge and providing for its community.
What are you most excited about during your internship?
I’m most excited about the potential life-long connections I’ll make in the department!
What is your most memorable college experience?
My most memorable college experience was the entire week of Springfest 2023 at UMES
Where do you want to be in 10 years, and how can this internship help you get there?
In the next ten years, I picture myself working as a professional, developing engaging and educational material for my own platforms and other major companies.
What does philanthropy mean to you?
What philanthropy means to me is to support and sustain deserving communities. I believe it’s important to give back if you can in order to make the world a safer and more equitable place.
What excites you most about spending your summer in Baltimore?
Having lived in Baltimore my whole life, I’ve learned that the city has a lot to offer, so I’m excited to discover the endless possibilities.
What is something you are passionate about?
Creating and storytelling is my passion!
