What is your most memorable college experience to date?

My most memorable college experience to date is when I successfully participated and led a literacy event for children in the local community. Seeing their faces light up as they engaged with books and activities was truly heartwarming.

Where do you want to be in 10 years and how can this internship help get you there?

In 10 years, I envision myself as an experienced educator, perhaps teaching in a vibrant New York City school, making a difference in the lives of my students. This internship can provide me with practical skills, networking opportunities, and insights into diverse teaching methods, all of which are crucial for my future career.

What does philanthropy mean to you?

Philanthropy, to me, means using my skills and resources to support and uplift others, particularly those in need. As an educator, it’s about advocating for equal access to quality education and providing opportunities for every child to succeed.

What excites you the most about spending your summer in Baltimore?

What excites me the most about spending my summer in Baltimore is the chance to immerse myself in a new environment, connect with fellow educators, and gain valuable hands-on experience that will enhance my teaching practice.

What is something you are passionate about?

I’m deeply passionate about creating inclusive and engaging learning environments where every student feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

One fun fact about me: I’m passionate about graphic design and love creating visually appealing materials to enhance learning experiences for my students. Whether it’s designing colorful posters, interactive presentations, or digital resources, I enjoy using my creativity to make educational content engaging and memorable.
