Arman Rezaie is a rising junior at the University of Maryland College Park, majoring in finance. This summer, Arman will support Natalia Ishemeneva and Ross Sorci in Finance & Administration. He is excited to expand his network and learn more about the HR aspects of Johns Hopkins.

What drew you to this opportunity?
I was drawn to the opportunity here at Johns Hopkins because of the privilege of being in and around such a prestigious institution.
What are you most excited about during your internship?
I’m excited to learn more about the financial aspect of such a large institution and to use my knowledge of finance to help make the financial tracking process more efficient.
What is your most memorable college experience?
My most memorable college experience has been being on my fraternity’s executive board. It has given me valuable skills such as communication and people skills to take forward in my career.
Where do you want to be in 10 years, and how can this internship help you get there?
I hope to be somewhere in the financial services industry in 10 years, having used this internship to broaden my network and gain valuable skills I can take with me in my career.
What does philanthropy mean to you?
To me, philanthropy is all about giving back to the things that give back to us. Without philanthropy, we would not have a lot of the greatest pieces of technology and innovation.
What excites you most about spending your summer in Baltimore?
I’m excited about the chance to experience a new city rooted deeply in culture and history.
