What is our most memorable college experience to date?

Studying at the University of Stirling in Scotland for a month in 2023. This was my first time going abroad, and I got to experience living independently in a new country. Working with Stirling faculty in English courses, I was impressed by the extensiveness of the literary and creative writing coursework and received guidance on developing my craft. The experience has inspired me to pursue graduate school in the United Kingdom once I complete undergrad.

Where do you want to be in 10 years and how can this internship help get you there?

There are two positions I want to be in. Within the writing world, I would like to have published at least one novel and/or contributed to one animated series. Within the Alumni Relations world, I would like to have supported Coppin by either working in their Alumni Office or serving as a study abroad advisor.

What does philanthropy mean to you?

Philanthropy is about giving one’s time or materials. Time can be mentoring or volunteering, while materials can be financial contributions or goods.

What excites you the most about spending your summer in Baltimore?

Going to at least one Orioles game!

What is something you are passionate about?

Creative writing! In high school I wrote a novel-length piece, and I’m working on a script in a screenwriting class.

One fun fact about yourself

I’ve recently gotten into film photography. I plan on making a personal cook & photobook.
