What brought you to the ORIGINS program, and what do you hope to take with you when it’s over?
I was looking for an internship that would let me grow and put my communication, research, and analysis skills to use. My uncle knew I was searching, and he thought ORIGINS would be a better fit. I applied, was fortunate enough to get an interview, and here I am. When it’s over, I hope to have made meaningful connections and gained a clearer sense of what I want from life after graduation.

What does philanthropy mean to you, and has anyone in your life shown you what giving back looks like?
Philanthropy, to me, means giving back to others — not just through money, but through time, support, and opportunity. My dad has shown me what that looks like. He mentors others and has opened his home to my brother’s football teammates when they needed a place to stay. His actions taught me that making a difference is really about helping people however you can.

What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?

Probably that I speak French well, not perfect, but around 75–80% fluent. My mom had the foresight to enroll me in a French immersion school when I was five years old. She was right.
